is 1967 block of cabernet that has, year after year, made this wine
very sought after. According to the winery, "t
his block was budded in 1967 with Cabernet clones
from three celebrated early California sources: “Martha’s
Vineyard", Beaulieu's original "BV1" block, and the original "Old
Niebaum” block in Napa."
Not bad stuff, Maynard! Enjoy with a great
steak - this wine will age over next 5-10
years.
