2014 Harvest View Petit Verdot - Napa Valley This release was a long time coming. We sourced this amazing wine 6 years ago from a small Napa Valley producer. Our intention was to find the perfect aging regime, let the wine mellow for a few years, then bottle 100% Petit Verdot. This grape is known for deep intensity of flavors, big tannons, and inky color. We have to be patient.

We bottled the wine after careful storage in spring 2021, and released it in the fall. A big version, this is BOLD yet DRY style. We want a bite but never harshness.

This wine pairs very well with big intense cheeses. We love it with Spring Hill Goat Chedder with Black Peppercorn. The richness of the cheese helps mellow the tannins just a bit.

Only 75 cases produced. Bryan Cooper, the Harvest View 'wine juggler' recommends grabbing a six-pack and trying this over 5-10 years. It will develop and yet stay fresh.
