Tasting Notes: Monticello Merlot
2007: This is another perfectly made wine from the
Corley Family. Known for their combination of French
technique and California fruit, this winery produces wines with
smooth tannins, lots of flavor with dry, crisp finish. Lower
alcohol shows their attention to balance (14.1%) This merlot
is full of that dark cherry that makes merlot very friendly towards
a dinner date.
